The challenge

Lattia started from a simple conviction: AI makes it easier than ever to publish, and that ease is exactly the risk. “Being able to generate something doesn't mean it deserves to exist” became the platform's operating principle.

The challenge was building an editorial platform, brand, and publishing workflow that could explore heavy questions (consciousness, perception, the unknown) through video essays and writing, with an AI collaborator built into the process, without it ever reading as generated-and-forgotten content.

My approach

What I did

01

Designed a brand identity built for restraint: a dark, cosmic visual language (lattice fields, starfields, editorial portraiture) that gives weight to ideas instead of competing with them.

02

Introduced Áurea, an AI editorial collaborator, as a named, visually designed presence in the brand rather than an invisible tool, treating AI as a creative partner with its own point of view.

03

Built the site and publishing structure (Videos, Journal, About, Contact) with Codex around a “less but better” principle: every piece documents its own sources, connections, and limits, so it's always clear where evidence ends and interpretation begins.

01 · Frame the right problem

The right product starts with the right problem.

The first step is reducing ambiguity: understanding what people are trying to accomplish and where the current experience breaks down.

Áurea, the AI collaborator

Áurea gets her own editorial portrait and voice in the brand, a deliberate choice to make the human-AI collaboration visible instead of hidden.

Editorial art direction

Original artwork built for each video essay's subject, here reframing a classic “eye of the mind” motif through Lattia's lattice-and-starfield visual language.

Research Journal

The written journal: field notes that document sources and reasoning, not just conclusions, true to the platform's “create with presence” principle.
