The challenge
US, Canadian, and European companies struggle to find and onboard trusted tech talent, while brilliant Mexican developers and designers stay under the radar.
I founded Talexa to bridge that gap, and designed the whole experience: brand, product, and the onboarding and immigration journey behind it.
What I did
Shaped the brand and positioning around trust, proximity, and time-zone alignment: the pitch a Mexican developer and a US hiring manager both need to hear.
Designed the platform experience for both companies and candidates as equally important: “Job Post” and “CV Post” sit side by side in the nav, not one path favored over the other.
Streamlined remote onboarding and immigration guidance into a clear flow, since a great match still fails if the paperwork and logistics aren't handled.
Owned product direction end to end as founder, with brand, platform, and operations all pulling toward the same trust-first positioning.
Grew Talexa into a full recruitment-and-EOR partner: built a 15-person remote engineering team for SourceScrub since 2021 (bi-weekly payroll, bi-annual offsites, quarterly check-ins), and helped a Golden Section portfolio company open its first Guadalajara office, which now has 30+ employees and a legal entity in Mexico.
